We do not require an adult signature for deliveries, but please note that the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the discretion of the delivery person. If you want an item left at your doorstep, the best thing to do is leave a note on your door asking the driver to leave your package with "No Signature Required." Overall the final product is great. Very comfortable and a lot more durable than you think it is when you're putting it together. Speaking of putting it together. The directions are an absolute NIGHTMARE. There are no words in the directions, just small, vague line drawings. I put it together alone in about 2.5 hours after having to take it apart a few times due to the lack of specific instructions. It comes in a 130 pound box and I managed to get it into the house on my own. The payoff has been great as I love this bed and it is very easy on the eye in my room. Very low to the ground. If you have the patience, strength and time, this bed is a great purchase for a great price. If not, look elsewhere.

Used as a spare bed. Takes two people to put together but is easy. A minor issue is the "platform" boards are not finished on the top side allowing bare wood to show if mattress and covers are not just so. I would recommend the manufacturer consider finishing them. Same with the "head" board it is not finished on the side against the wall; it's not visible but again, would be nice to have it finished. I may attempt to finish those pieces myself.
Overall, we are very satisfied with the bed.
We waited a month (while finishing the room) to open the box so I was very pleased to find that all pieces were in perfect shape.
I will be buying another platform bed; queen size with storage, in the near future.
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery was when expected. Box was very sturdy; and had some damage on corners (too heavy for one person to carry). The bed was packaged very secure with thick Styrofoam. I would recommend that the package be shipped in two boxes for ease of handling.

Once you get over the fact that the slats are unevenly lined up with the holes you can relax and put the bed together. The border/edges are going to cover up that design flaw. It was difficult to screw in things upside down. If you hammer the screes in a bit it makes the task much easier. Lay on your back and have to other person hold the edges in place. Like I said requires two to assemble.

When I received the bed I was concerned about putting it together by myself. I found the design and instructions easy to follow, I had it put together, mattress and bedding all set up with in an hour and had a wonderful nights sleep.
